On Wednesday, the Angels and the Reds hooked up in little league action in the park. The game was close in the early going, until the Angels exploded for 12 runs in the second inning. The Angels went on to win the game by the final count of 18-4.
The Angels started the game with a four run first inning, but saw most of their lead disappear when the Reds countered with three in the bottom of the frame. The Angels then put the game on ice in the second inning, scoring 12 runs. The inning featured two inside the park homeruns, one by Nathan Pray (grand slam) and the other by Mikie Neace.
The Reds got their only other run in the third inning, cutting the lead to eight at 16-4. The Angels put two more on the board in the fourth inning, bringing the game to an end 18-4.
Austin Pray got the win for the Angels, pitching four innings, giving up four hits and striking out five.
