Napier indicted on bad check charge
Grand jury returns 17 additional indictments
The Perry County Grand Jury has indicted a Perry County man who was wanted in several counties for allegedly writing several bad checks.
Bryan Napier, age 40, was arrested by Perry County Deputy Joey Sparkman in May after a long search by the Perry County Sheriff's Office.
According to Sparkman Napier was wanted in eight eastern Kentucky counties on charges of theft by deception over $300, a felony charge. Napier was wanted in Perry County for allegedly writing a bad check in order to purchase $5,300 worth of laptop computers. Sparkman noted that Napier was also wanted in Laurel, Knott, Breathitt, Floyd, Wolfe, Powell, and Pike Counties.
Napier was indicted by the grand jury in Perry County on the charge of theft by deception over $300.
The Perry County Grand Jury also returned the following indictments:
Brian Stamper - Burglary third-degree, criminal mischief, theft by unlawful taking over $300, PFO II
Larissa Hicks Rowe - Two counts of obtaining controlled substance by fraud (complicity)
Trevor Spalding - Two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of property
Albert Milo Glenn Jent - Receiving stolen property over $300, PFO II
Dewey Brewer - Unlawful transaction with a minor first-degree, sexual abuse third-degree
Jimmy Callahan - Theft by deception
Debra H. Oliver - Theft by unlawful taking over $300
Danny Fugate - Flagrant non-support
Tabitha Couch - Flagrant non-support
Daniel Holland - Flagrant non-support
Terry Feltner - Flagrant non-support
Billy Helton - Flagrant non-support
Josh Bush - Flagrant non-support
