Bulldogs open H.I.T. with win

The Hazard Bulldogs opened the H.I.T. with the Raiders of Sullivan North out of Kingsport, Tennessee. The Bulldogs wasted little time establishing their dominace as they quickly took a double-digit lead, allowing them to coast to the 68-44 win.

The Bulldogs opened the game hot, behind four threes from Justin Hicks, and quickly grabbed the double-digit lead at 23-12. Hazard showed little signs of letting up in the second quarter, as Hicks and company continued to pound Sullivan North. The Bulldogs went into the locker room with a comfortable 39-22 lead.

Sullivan North went ice cold from the floor in the third period, allowing Hazard to put the game away. Going into the final period, Hazard had doubled up on the Raiders 52-26.

The Bulldogs were able to cruise into the semifinals with a convincing 68-44 win. Justin Hicks led the way for the Bulldogs with 20 points on the night.
