Last week on the little league field, the Reds saw a sure victory slip through their fingers as the Yankees rallied late to take the win. Neither team was particularly hot in the opening innings, but the Reds got hot in the third, taking a 3-0 lead.
By the fifth inning, The Reds still maintained the three run advantage (5-2). However, the Yankees were able to explode for seven runs in the sixth inning to take the 9-5 lead. The Reds were unable to get a rally started in the bottom of the frame, and fell to the Yankees by the final of 9-5.
