The Yankees and the Mets took to the little league field last week in what could be described as anything but a defensive struggle. The Yankees were able to hold on to a slim lead in the first half of the game, but then exploded for 11-runs in the third inning.

The explosion was enough to allow the Yankees to double up on the Mets, giving them the 20-10 win in four innings. Kameron Conley had 4 RBI for the Yankees, while the Mets were paced by Blake Lockhart’s three hits, including a homerun in the first inning.
