The Bulldogs’ offense looked good early against the Blackcats. They were able to move the ball effectively on the ground behind the running of Greg Adams and Austin Blanton.
The Bulldogs also had some success in the air as Tyler Olinger was able to move around in the pocket and make several good passes. Unfortunately, the time format of the scrimmage limited the time the offense spent on the field.
The Bulldogs’ defense worked well, limiting the Blackcats’ yardage. Hazard made several strong stands during the period, keeping Prestonsburg out of the end zone.
The second scrimmage saw the Bulldogs take on Clay County. The Bulldogs’ offense was not as successful against the Tigers’ defense, but they were able to move the ball on the ground. Once again, the defense made a solid showing.
