Alma Ray Toler, born February 4, 1930 in Hazard, departed this life on Monday, October 6 at her residence in Gainesville, Ga. At the time of her passing she was 78 years, eight months and two days of age.

By occupation she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning food and making expensive quilts. She was also a member of the Combs Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Polly Herald Sebastian; husband Richard Toler, Jr. and brothers Ray Sebastian, Jr. and Wesley Sebastian.

She is survived by her sons Ova Toler and Elizabeth of Gainesville, Rocky Toler and Connie of Emmitt, Ky.; daughter Nannie Mae Toler and Dave Crocker of Bowling Green; brothers Walker Sebastian and Christina of Loraine, Ohio Samuel Sebastian and Dorothy of Loraine, Ohio, Paul David Sebastian and Norma Jean of Newport, James Edward Sebastian and Juanita of Combs; sisters Mae Burnett of Newport, Irene Campbell and Dale of Combs, Fannie Ruth Caldwell and James of Frogtown, Mary Ann Miller and Martin of Christopher; 14 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, October 10 at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home. Funeral took place in the Sebastians Branch Cemetery at Jackson. Visitation was Thursday, October 9 at the funeral home.
