He was a serviceman for GTE Telephone Company for many years, and the son of the late Mason Miller and the late Mora Lovins Miller. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Lelia Miller; daughter Cassandra Callahan and husband Brent; sons Jonathan Miller and wife Teresa and Gregory Miller; sisters Kathleen Miller, Phyllis Jones and Allie Kronberg; brother Dennis Miller and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, September 19. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20 with Rev. Clell Miller and Rev. Densmore Goodson officiating. Interment will be at Miler Lovins Cemetery in Dwarf.
