In the previous games, the Lady Bulldogs had the hot hand in the first game and jumped out to the early lead. However, Perry Central was on top of their game, and held the upper hand first.
The Lady Commodores were well in control of the contest as the first game drew near the end. The Lady Bulldogs, however, had a little fight left in them. They were able to make the first game close, with Perry Central taking the 25-21 win.
The momentum garnered by Hazard in the first game was enough to spot them to an early lead in the second game. Perry Central was able to make a couple of runs at the lead, but could not catch the Lady Bulldogs down the stretch. Hazard went on to win game two by the final tally of 25-23.
The third game was close early on, but Hazard seemed to have broken Perry Central’s spirit for a late run. The Lady Bulldogs went on to win the match, and the title with the 25-19 win.

Hazard stats: Mary Hammonds 4 kills, 26 digs (school record) and 1 assist, Kelsie Hochstetler 10 digs and 3 aces, Krystann Thies 5 kills, 9 digs, 1 block and 7 aces, Marjorie Hammonds 20 kills (school record), 5 digs, 1 assist and 2 aces, Maddison Niece 3 kills, 5 digs, 2 assists and 2 blocks, Sarah Pratt 2 kills, 20 digs, 24 assists (school record), and 1 ace, and Lindsey Branson 1 kill, 3 digs and 3 assists.
