She was born February 8, 1957 in Hazard, the daughter of the late Donald Banks and the late Alva Banks.
She was a life-long resident of Perry County, a member of the Black Gold Committee, and a member of the Maple Street Church of God where she was Sunday School secretary, very active in the drama team, enjoyed the church plays, and was a member of the Church of God Ladies Ministry.
She is survived by sons Vincent Lane Gregory and wife Natasha Michelle of Hazard and Arthur David Gregory of Hazard; grandson Rylan Jacob Gregory of Hazard; stepmother Irene Banks of Hazard; stepbrothers Mike Smith and wife Nancy, Randy Smith and wife Yvonne, and Terry Smith and wife Donna, all of Hazard, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6 at 7 p.m. at the Maple Street Church of God with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
