Lady Commodores rout Bryan Station in MLK

The Perry County Central Lady Commodores took their 14-0 record on the road this weekend to participate in the Martin Luther King tournament at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. The Lady Commodores took on the Bryan Station Lady Defenders.
Perry Central used their stellar defense to catch the Lady Defenders off guard. The Lady Commodores posted a 23-14 lead at the end of the first period.
The Lady Commodores cooled off a little in the second period, but still managed to keep one step ahead of Bryan Station, building a double-digit lead. Going into the break, Perry Central sat atop a 37-24 lead.
Bryan Station was able to continue to slow down Perry Central’s offense, but were unable to turn the advantage to their favor. The Lady Commodores went into the final period with a 48-31 advantage.
Despite a valiant effort by Bryan Station if the fourth quarter, Perry Central was able to stave off the assault. The Lady Commodores were able to remain perfect on the season (15-0) with the 63-41 win.
