Chester Jerry “Chet” Combs, 48, died Thursday, February 23 at his home in Rowdy.
He was the son of Tony Combs and Florence Jean Combs.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacquline Combs; brother Shannon “Moose” Combs; maternal grandparents Larkin and Olga Holliday; and paternal grandfather Chester Combs.
He is also survived by sons Matthew Scott Combs and David Chase Combs; sister Malinda Combs; grandchild Brayden Scott Costella; grandmother Janie Brashear; sister-in-law Theresa Combs; niece Contessa Larae Combs, along with a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 26. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 27, with the burial following at Holliday Cemetery in Ary.
