James Harold Moore, 58, of Hazard, died Saturday, April 14 at Nicholas County Hospital in Carlisle, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Moore, Sr.; mother Lillian Moore; and brother Walter Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Moore; mother Ann S. Moore; daughters Jennifer Warren, Johnnie Moore, Melisa Moore, Nickey Dugger, Missy Dugger and Angie Dalton; sons James H. Moore, Jr. and Christopher James Moore; sisters Susie Combs and Gina Moore; brothers Manuel Moore II, Corbett Moore, Dewey Moore and Pete Moore; along with 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. Visitation will be held at the Upper Second Creek Baptist Church where the family will receive friends after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18 with Kenny Tatum officiating. Interment will be at Moore Cemetery on Upper Second Creek.
