Last week, the Hazard Lady Bulldogs traveled to Hindman to take on the Knott Central Lady Patriots. The Lady Bulldogs fell behind early, but rallied to take the 9-3 win.

Hazard opened the game with a run in the top of the first inning, but gave two back in the bottom of the frame (1-2). The Lady Patriots then took the 3-1 lead in the second inning.

Things would turn around for the Lady Bulldogs in the third inning. Hazard added three runs to their tally in the frame, giving them the 4-1 lead.

Hazard was not finished as their offense continued to click, adding two in the fourth inning, two in the fifth inning, and finishing with one in the sixth inning. The Lady Bulldogs went on to win the game by the final score of 9-3.

Chandler Maggard went the distance on the mound, giving up three runs on four hits, with two walks and two strikeouts.
