The Heat and the Thunder kicked off the 2012 Little League softball season. The Thunder took the early lead, but could not hold off the Heat as they finished strong, taking the 10-4 win.
The Thunder took the lead with a run in the second inning, they then came back with three in the third inning (4-0). The Heat countered with three in the bottom of the third inning, and three more in the fourth inning. The Heat then finished the game with four runs in the fifth inning, bring the final tally to 10-4.
