On this past Saturday, April 21, on the campus of Southeast Community and Technical College in Cumberland Ky., the 4th Annual East Kentucky Dramatic Arts Society (EKDAS) High School Drama Festival was held.
The one-act play festival invites high school drama programs throughout the Mountain Region to perform, in support of all Fine Arts students of our area. Awards were given for Best Performances and Individual Performers as well. The 4th Annual EKDAS Festival winners are:
Best Overall Performance - Whitley County High School Drama “Beauty and the Beast”
2nd Place Performance - Perry County Central High School’s Commodore Players
3rd Place Performance - Harlan County High School Drama
