The Perry County Central Commodores played three games last week without their seniors. The Commodores managed to go 3-0 on the week with a pair of wins on the road.
In the first game, Perry Central traveled to Cordia to take on the Lions. The game remained scoreless until the fifth inning when the Commodores plated a pair of runs.
Perry Central managed to come across with solo runs in the sixth and seventh innings, setting their final tally at four. Cordia would not be able to mount a comeback bid, giving Perry Central the 4-0 win.

The Commodores hosted the Harlan Green Dragons in the middle of the week. The game was tight throughout, with Perry Central pulling out the victory late in the matchup.
Harlan got on the board first with two runs in the second inning. Perry Central reciprocated with two runs in the bottom of the frame (2-2).
The Commodores took the lead in the third inning with two more runs (4-2). Harlan pulled to within a single run in the fifth inning, but gave the run back in the bottom of the inning (5-3).
The Green Dragons scored another run in the seventh inning, but the rally quickly dried up, leaving the Commodores with the 5-4 win.

Perry Central finished the week on the road at Buckhorn. The Commodores were able to shutout the Wildcats, closing out their week 3-0 with the 9-0 win.
Perry Central opened the game with a single run in the first inning. The Commodores added single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to bring the tally to 3-0.
The score remained at 3-0 until the final at-bat for Perry Central. The Commodores exploded for six runs, giving them the 9-0 win.
