Last week, the Hazard Bulldogs finished up the Hazard Invitational Tournament with the Belfry Pirates. The Bulldogs jumped out to the early lead, and never looked back as they collected the 8-1 lead.
The Bulldogs jumped all over the Pirates early, scoring in each of the first three innings of the game. By the time the Pirates got on the board in the fourth inning, Hazard had already posted a 5-0 lead.
Belfry scored their only run of the game in the fourth inning (5-1). Hazard finished the game with a run in the fifth and two in the sixth inning.
The Bulldogs went on to win the game by the final score of 8-1.
