Billie Jean Spencer Holliday, 70, died Thursday, May 10 at the Hazard ARH medical center.

She was born in Perry County on July 12, 1941 to the late Oscar and Aileen Spencer, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Holliday; daughter Debbie Peters and husband Ralph of London; sons Jeff Holliday and wife Denise, Greg Holliday and wife Trish, and Jeremy Holliday, all of Hazard; brothers Oscar Spencer and wife Judy of Hazard, Jimmy Spencer and wife Penny of Florence, and Gary Spencer and wife Betty of Hazard; sisters Janet Compton of Corbin, Jo Ann Hickman, Marilyn Trimbley of Louisiana, Sue Adkins and husband John of Hazard, Helen York and husband John, along with six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 12 at 1 p.m. with Darryl Bryant officiating at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home Chapel where the family will receive friends for visitation between the hours of 6 until 9 p.m. on Friday evening. The Englewood Cemetery located at Christopher is the place of Burial.
