Perry Central’s Shelby Sheffield scored the lone run in the Lady Commodores’ 1-0 win over East Ridge.
Early last week, the Perry County Central Lady Commodores traveled to East Ridge to take on the Lady Warriors. The game would feature a single run, which went to the Lady Commodores, giving them the win.
The lone run in the game came in the second inning. Shelby Sheffield got aboard via the error, moved to second on a walk, and then took third when Hannah Johnson hit a hard grounder to the second base side of the infield. Sheffield then made it to the plate on a pass ball. The game ended with the Lady Commodores taking the 1-0 win.
