Harlan County blanks Hazard 11-0

On Thursday, the Hazard Bulldogs hosted the Harlan County Black Bears. The Bulldogs traveled to Harlan the week before, and came away with the 7-0 win.

Harlan opened the game with three runs in the top of the first inning. They would continue to add to their lead throughout the game while holding Hazard scoreless.

The Black Bears scored two runs in each the fourth and sixth innings, and finished off their night with four runs in the seventh (11-0). Hazard’s lone run came in the bottom of the seventh inning, setting the final score at 11-1.

Hazard stats: Austin Johnson 1 hit, Jordan Olinger 1 hit and 1 run and Nathan Stupart 1 hit.
