Bulldogs crush Cougars 10-0

On Friday, the Hazard Bulldogs traveled to Whitesburg to take on the Letcher Central Cougars. Austin Johnson and Kameron Conley combined to one-hit the Cougars. While the Bulldogs’ defense was holding a shutout, the offense exploded for 17 runs.

The game was never in doubt as the Bulldogs crossed the plate four times in the first inning, and six times in the second, giving Hazard the double-digit lead before the third inning (10-0).

Hazard continued to tack onto their lead as the game progressed, scoring one in the third inning, two in the fourth, and finishing with four in the fifth inning. Jordan Olinger closed out the game with a two-run home run. The Bulldogs went on to win the game by the final score of 17-0.
