Last week, the Cardinals and the Reds hit the little league field. The Cardinals exploded in the fourth inning and crushed the Reds 22-6.
The two teams traded runs in the first inning (3-all). The Cardinals began to pull away in the second inning as they outscored the Reds 4-1 to take the 7-4 advantage.
Neither team scored in the third inning, but that would change in the fourth inning. The Reds scored two (7-6), but could not find a third out when the Cardinals came to bat. The Cardinals scored 15 runs in the frame to take the 22-6 advantage. The deficit was enough to end the game.
