Cassandra Lyn Jones, 39, passed away on Saturday, July 21 at her home in Austin, In.

She was born on November 29, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Ray Couch and Mae White Smith, and was preceded in death by her dad, Noah Smith, and brother Mark Anthony Couch.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Keith Jones of Austin; father Ray Couch of Yerkes; mother Mae Smith of Yerkes; daughter Vanessa Jones of Carter County, Ky.; brothers Victor Colon and Noah Smith, Jr., both of Busy, and Ray Couch, Jr. and Jeffrey Couch, both of Yerkes; sister Maranda Combs of Combs, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 24 at 11 a.m. at the Hickory Gap Pentecostal Church with Scotty Dwayne Stamper officiating. The interment will follow in the Government Cemetery located at Buckhorn. The visitation will be at the church on Monday evening starting at 6 p.m.
