The Perry County Central Commodore soccer team is ready to get up and running this season. The Commodores will be looking to improve upon their 9-15 record from last season.
Perry Central got off to a slow start last season, but finished strong, making it to the region playoffs. However, the Commodores will have to overcome a long stretch of road games early to get the season off to a good start.
Perry Central lost five players off last season’s squad, and a majority of their scoring. However, they will have several players (Zach Combs, Jeff Coots, Corey Mullis and Michael Wooton) ready to step up and fill the void.
The Commodores have a large number of freshmen entering the fight this season, with more than a dozen attending summer practice. The key to the season will be how well they fit into the rotation.
