HAZARD – Is your pet the cutest in Perry County? If so, we’ve got just the contest for you.
The Hazard Herald’s annual “Cutest Pet Contest,” sponsored by Town and Country Animal Clinic, is online now at www.hazard-herald.com and open to the Herald’s readers to submit photos of their furry friends. And while we expect to see plenty of cats and dogs again this year, Herald Editor Cris Ritchie noted that any and all pets are eligible to win the $50 first place prize.
“We see cats and dogs every year, and we hope to see lots again this year, but we also hope our readers who keep horses, tropical birds and other animals will enter our contest,” Ritchie said. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase Perry County’s cutest pets and maybe win a bit of cash in the process.”
Pet owners wishing to enter the contest can go online to the Herald’s website at www.hazard-herald.com and upload a photo of their pet. Entries will be accepted through Saturday, Sept. 29, though the Herald’s online readers can begin voting on the cutest pet on Monday, Sept. 17 through Sept. 30.
And if you don’t want to enter the contest online, Town and Country, located at 15 Amber Way in Hazard, will also act as a point of entry where you can drop of a photo. Just make sure to include your name and contact information, as well as the pet’s name, and we’ll make sure the photo goes online.
So, log on to hazard-herald.com and enter your pet in the Herald’s “Cutest Pet Contest” today!
