The Perry County Central Lady Commodores took on the Whitley County Lady Colonels in soccer action last week. The Lady Commodores took control early, and went on to win 4-1.
The Lady Commodores got on the board first with a goal from Brandi Campbell in the 17th minute. Ashley Morris added a goal a minute later, bringing the count to 2-0. Campbell came up with her second goal at the 21 minute mark, giving Perry Central the 3-0 lead. The 3-0 score went to the half.
Whitley County picked up a goal early in the second half, but it was quickly erased by Ashley Morris’ second goal of the game. Neither team scored down the stretch, and the 4-1 score stood as the final.
