HAZARD – A Perry County man was killed Saturday afternoon during an ATV accident in the Big Creek Community.
Troopers with the Kentucky State Police were called to the scene after Big Creek resident James Epperson and a neighbor reportedly found the wreckage in a nearby creek. Epperson told WYMT-TV that a man later identified as 36-year-old Rexford Noble, Jr. was found lying face down in the water.
Noble, whose address was listed at Margaret Lane in Big Creek, according to a Kentucky State Police dispatcher, was pronounced dead at 3:15 Saturday afternoon.
WYMT reported that Noble had been reported missing on Saturday.
The accident is being investigated by Trooper Isaac Whitaker with the Kentucky State Police.
