The Hazard Lady Bulldog volleyball team ended their regular season with back-to-back games with the Wolfe County Lady Wolves. The first game was played on the road, while the second at home. Hazard took both matches in straight games (2-0).

On the road, Hazard was able to take out Wolfe County in two games. The first game went completely the Lady Bulldogs’ way. Hazard led wire-to-wire with a 25-11 score.

Wolfe County picked up the pace in the second game, but still was no match for Hazard. The Lady Bulldogs went on to sweep the match with the 25-17 win.

Hazard stats: Sarah Pratt 2 kills, 16 assists and 2 aces, Maddison Niece 8 kills, 1 dig and 5 aces, Paige Williams 1 kill and 1 ace, Marjorie Hammonds 6 kills and 1 ace, Krystann Thies 2 kills and 3 aces, Andrea Stidham 2 kills, Hannah Neace-Keenan 1 ace, Hope Clark 1 kill, and Chandler Maggard 4 aces.

Match two of the week was held in Hazard. The Lady Bulldogs continued their dominance of the Lady Wolves, and once again took the match in straight games.

Wolfe County started strong in the first game, but could not keep pace with Hazard as the Lady Bulldogs began to pull away midway through. Hazard went on to win the first game by the final score of 25-14.

The Lady Wolves would not offer much in the way of resistance in the second game as the Lady Bulldogs dominated from the opening serve. Hazard went on to win the game, and the match, by the final count of 25-10.

Hazard stats: Hannah Neace-Keenan 1 kill, 13 assists and 3 aces, Maddison Niece 6 kills and 8 aces, Paige Williams 3 kills and 3 aces, Lindsey Branson 2 kills and 2 aces, Marjorie Hammonds 1 dig and 2 aces, and Krystann Thies 2 kills and 4 aces.
