Beve Bowling, Jr., 77, of Vicco, died Friday, Oct. 12 at the Hazard ARH medical center.

He was a veteran of the United States Marines and a retired coal miner. He was also the son of the late Beve Bowling and the late Esther Hensley Bowling, and was proceeded in death by sisters Versie, Olzie, Cleo, Annie, and Irene, and brothers Dave, Oscar, Woodrow, Clyde, Clayton, Hubert, and Avery.

He is survived by his wife, Revenna Bowling; daughters Mary Ann Guffey and husband Freddie, and Esther Renee Haley and husband Christopher; sister Janice Caudill and husband Don; grandchildren Kristina Haley, Charles Haley, and Evan Guffey, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. Services were held on Monday, Oct. 15 with Willie Wagers officiating. Interment was at Cornett Hill Cemetery in Knott County.
