Fire crews battled a blaze on Robin Run in Bonnyman. The fire is currently under investigation.
BONNYMAN — A late night fire destroyed a home just off of Ky. 15 near Bonnyman, and arson investigators are searching for its cause.
Fire crews were dispatched to the home on Robin Run near Fugate’s Entertainment Park at around 10 p.m. Monday evening. A neighbor living on Easy Drive could see the flames from the road, but was unsure if they were from a structure fire or burn pile.
When the first fire department arrived on Robin Run, however, the house was completely engulfed in flames.
While it remains unclear what started the fire, Kentucky State Police arson investigators were called to the scene the next day while crews were still battling the blaze.
It is still unknown if anyone was home at the time of the fire, but as of press time night no injuries had been reported.
The fire was knocked down to a safe level by around 11 p.m.
