Friday marked the first day of winter, and it looks like it outside. Approximately an inch of snow fell on Hazard overnight into Friday morning, with more likely to have fallen in other areas of Perry County, especially in higher elevations. Though crews are out treating the roadways, conditions remain hazardous as snow continues to fall at 9 a.m. Some roadways are partially covered, and officials urge anyone who has to drive to be cautions.
