Larry E. Combs, 67, died Monday, Dec. 24 at his home in Viper.
He was a retired mechanic and son of the late Levi Combs and the late Delsie Smith Combs, and was also preceded in death his sister, Helen Cornett.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Combs; sons Kevin Combs, and Shaun Combs and wife Laurie; grandchild Hannah Pauline Combs; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Hampton Inn from 5 to 7 p.m.
Larry was my uncle, but I haven't seen him in quite a few years. i will miss him terribly anyway.
