A boil water advisory has been issued for several water customers in Perry County.
Hazard City Manager Carlos Combs issued the advisory Thursday afternoon, which notes that a waterline break has resulted in the possibility of bacterial contamination in the affected area. Roughly 10 meters in the Jakes Fork Road community are included in the advisory.
The advisory will remain in effect until the threat of contamination has been removed.
