A boil water advisory issued for water customers at Jakes Fork Road has been lifted.
Hazard City Manager Carlos Combs issued the advisory last week, noting that a waterline break resulted in the possibility of bacterial contamination. Combs lifted the advisory on Saturday, as the state Division of Water has determined through water tests that the water is again safe for consumption.
