Willa May Couch, 66, of Vancleve, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2 at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson.
She was the daughter of Robert Melton and the late Anna Lee Sparks Melton.
She is also survived by her husband, Melvin Couch; daughters Tina Louise Smallwood and husband Steve, Omalee Couch and Chad Christy, and Loretta Lynn Couch; sons Melvin Couch, Jr. and Robert Arnold Couch; sister Anna Petty; brothers Fred Melton, Charles Melton, and Eddie Melton; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 pm. on Friday, Jan. 4. Services will begin at noon on Saturday, Jan. 5 with Doug Finely and John Tincher officiating. Interment will be at Couch Cemetery at Willard.
