A boil water advisory has been issued for several water customers of the city of Hazard in Perry County.
Hazard City Manager Carlos Combs issued the advisory Thursday afternoon, which notes that a waterline break has resulted in the possibility of bacterial contamination in the affected area at Jakes Fork Road. There is no word as to how many customers have been affected by this latest advisory.
The advisory will remain in effect until the threat of contamination has been removed.
