Charlotte Spencer Barnett, 57, of Jackson, died Sunday, Jan. 20.
She was a retired nurse for Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, and was the daughter of the late Dock Spencer and the late Eva Combs Spencer. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Mitchell and Asbalee Spencer.
She is survived by her son, Steven Neace of Hazard; sisters Sherrie Spencer, Janet Hurt, and Charlene Wooton, all of Hazard, and Diane Blankenship of Tennessee; brothers Donnie Spencer, James Spencer, and Eugene Spencer, all of Hazard; and grandson Alexander Neace.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. Services will follow at 1 p.m. with Bobby Holland officiating. Interment will be at Neace Cemetery in Grapevine.
