Vaughn Duff, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the hospice care center in Hazard.
He was born Dec. 26, 1936 at Allock, the son of the late Ira Duff and the late Nannnie Allen Duff. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Stidham Duff, and brothers Dorris Duff and Donnie Duff.
He was a life-long resident of Perry County, a member of the Davidson Baptist Church, Krypton Masonic Lodge No. 905, and a retired teacher and principal with the Perry County School System.
He is survived by sons Kenneth Dale Duff and wife Jamie of Jackson, and Kevin Dean Duff and wife Kim of Ary; sister Jacquline Robinson and husband J.C. of Fairborn, Ohio; grandchildren Ian Duff, Derrik Duff, Kayleigh Duff, Dawson Duff, and Kennedy Duff; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Youmans officiating. The interment will follow in the Duff Family Cemetery located at Clear Fork. The visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Masonic rites will be performed by the Krypton Masonic Lodge No. 905.
