Late last week, the Perry County Central Commodores traveled to Jackson County to take on the Generals. The Commodores put together a strong first half, and rode the lead to the win.
Perry Central had the hot hand in the first period, and quickly built a lead. At the horn, the Commodores were on top 19-11.
The Commodores picked up the pace in the second period and continued to extend the advantage. Going into the break, Perry Central held the 39-20 advantage.
The Commodores cooled off in the third period, allowing the Generals to cut eight points off the lead (51-40). Perry Central was able to correct the skid, and went on to win the game by the final count of 70-56.
