On Thursday, the Perry County Central Lady Commodores hosted the Buckhorn Lady Wildcats. The Lady Commodores jumped out to the big lead, but allowed the Lady Wildcats to tighten the score. Perry Central ended the game with a big rally, and collected the 28-11 win.

Perry Central opened the game with a 14-run first inning, and then tacked on four runs in the second inning to take an 18-0 lead. Buckhorn took advantage of the Commodores in the third inning, and pushed 11 runs across the plate.

Perry Central closed out the game with a 10-run rally in the third and fourth innings. The late pushed proved to be enough to end the game via the “mercy rule.”
