Mary Ethel Kelly, born on June 8, 1923, departed this life on July 5 at the age of 86 years and 27 days. She was the daughter of the late Balis Grigsby and Martha Combs Grigsby.

By occupation she was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies included cooking and quilting. She attended the Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church in Sassafrass, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Foister Kelly; brother Brady Grigsby; sisters Lucy Grigsby, Winnie Ritchie, and Abby Dobson.

She is survived by her son, Peyton Kelly and Ollie of Viper, Ky.; grandson Michael Peyton Kelly of Viper, and a host of nieces, nephews, and church family.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 10 at Little Dove Old Regular Baptist Church in Sassafrass. Burial took place at the Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff, Ky. after services.
