She was the daughter of the late George Jr. Gay and the late Nanna Neace Gay.
She is survived by her daughter, Selena and Donny Hamblin; son Denny and Vanessa Miller; sister Bobbie and Robert Nickles; brothers Wireman and Angeline Gay and Kenneth and Cora Lee Gay; and special friend William Miller.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard. The visitation was held on December 18 at the Church of Lord Jesus. The funeral service was at the church with Taylor Neace and Kennard Morris officiating. Interment was at Hughes and Whitaker Cemetery located at Clear Fork.
