On Saturday, the Perry County Central Commodores hosted the Bell County Bobcats for the second time this season. The Commodores took the first meeting 17-2 in five innings, and were looking for the sweep on the season.

Bell County got on the board first, scoring a run in the top half of the first inning. The 1-0 Bobcat lead would hold until the fourth inning. Perry Central tied the score as Ryan Chitwood picked up a single, stole second and third and scored on an error.

Bell County retook the lead in the fifth inning with another run (2-1). Perry Central took the 6-1 lead in the bottom of the frame as five Commodores crossed the plate. Ryan Chitwood (1) and Dustin Feltner (2) each had RBI in the inning.

The two teams traded runs in the sixth inning. The Commodores' run came as Conner Hurt picked up a single, moved into scoring position on a Devin Turner single, and scored on a Chance Ashworth hit.

Bell County could not get a rally going in the seventh inning, and Perry Central earned the season sweep with the 7-3 win.
