The Perry County Central Commodores concluded their Saturday matinee with the Johnson Central Golden Eagles. The Commodores held an 8-3 lead going into the final inning and allowed the Golden Eagles to tie the score. They then had to squeeze a run across in the bottom of the frame to win the game.

The Commodore’s defense let them down in the top of the seventh as they allowed the Golden Eagles to score the five runs necessary to tie the score. Perry Central had to rely on a squeeze play at the plate to pick up the winning run in the bottom of the seventh (9-8).
