Dewayne Dials, 77, of Hazard, passed away Saturday, May 10 at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington.

He was retired from the Ky. W. Va. Gas Company and the son of the late Von Dials and the late Martha Watson Dials. He was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Ray Dials.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Dials; daughters Andra and Harold Harvey, Vonda and Ronnie Hall and Robyn and Keith Back; son Edwin Dean and Sandra Dials; sisters Doris Osborne, Wanda Hamilton and Donna Dials; brothers Wayne and Eloise Dials, James and Della Dials and Maynard and Roberta Dials; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Arrangements were handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home where the family received friends on Thursday, May 13. The funeral service was held on Friday, May 14 with Arnold Branson, Jr. and Shawn Cato officiating.

Entombment was at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Hazard.
