She was formerly employed as a nurse at the Hazard ARH. She was a graduate in the class of 1996 from Hazard High School and a graduate from the Hazard nursing program. She was also a member of the Hazard Band of Gold where she served as the field commander during her senior year.
She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Mary Hollifield Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ed Johnson; father Bobby Roberts; daughter Jerryn Marie Johnson; son Jace Nathaniel Johnson; sisters Pam Oaks and Myra Hall; brother Gregory Roberts along with a host of family and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard where the family received friends on Wednesday, May 26. The funeral service was held on Thursday, May 27 with Buddy Turner officiating. Interment was at Balis Napier Cemetery located at Lotts Creek.
