The Hazard Bulldogs soccer team will be looking to add to their ranks as the new season approaches. Just weeks before the season, the Bulldogs have been practicing just at playing numbers, a problem that could add stress to new head coach Stephen Wayne. Wayne comes to the Bulldogs via familiar foe Prestonsburg.

Hazard lost their top scorer in Stephen Frasure to graduation along with several other key players in Baylen Campbell, Josh Eversole and goalie Conor Duff. All will be difficult to replace.

The Bulldogs will return a couple of key players that will be able to pick up the slack on the offensive end. Alex Jolly, Keith Collins and Gary Kilburn should provide the offense for Hazard.

Hazard will need some of the less experienced players to step up this season if they are to be successful. At this point, it is a “wait and see” as to numbers for the Bulldogs.
