She was born in Leslie County, the daughter of the late Clem Wells and the late Jane Sparkman. She was also preceded in death by sons Paul Wells and Soloman Adams, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Pearl Adams, Jr. of Cynthiana, daughter Rebecca Stephens of Paris, brother Farmer Wells of Connersville, In., sister Velva Shepherd of Viper, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home of Hazard on Tuesday, September 14 with Lester Coots officiating. Burial followed in the Ben Cornett Cemetery located at Viper.
