Sue Carol Holliday, 78, of Lexington, died Wednesday, May 9. She was the owner of the Busy Little Hen and a member of the Southland Christian Church.
She was the daughter of the late Wilbert Carder and the late Ella Campbell Carder, and was also pereceded in death by her husbands, Brown Deaton and Eldon Holliday, son Elson Holiday, Jr., and sister Fay Napier.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Conway and Penelope “Penny” Deaton; daughter-in-law Susan C. Holliday; brother Ralph Carder; grandchildren Chad Conway, Shelby Conway, Vanessa Tester, Kristy Whitaker and Jesse Clemons, along with five great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. Services will follow with Eldon Miller officiating. Interment will be at Holliday Cemetery in Ary, Ky.
